Joshua Tree National Park staff, along with the town of Twentynine Palms will host the first Joshua Tree NP Art Show and Faire on December 6, 7, and 8. This three-day celebration of art and music at the historic Oasis of Mara will include an opening reception, awards, and a weekend of artist booths, art demonstrations, cultural displays, park presentations and live music.
The art show opens at noon on Friday, December 6 at the 29 Palms Art Gallery, with an opening reception from 5 to 8 p.m. On December 7 and 8, festivities will be hosted at Joshua Tree NP headquarters and visitor center, 29 Palms Art Gallery, 29 Palms Inn, Old Schoolhouse Museum, and the 29 Palms Creative Center and Gallery. Admission is free, and all event venues are within walking distance of the Oasis.
