A Joshua Tree man was arrested Tuesday, accusing of trying to run his ex-girlfriend off the road. According to a Sheriff’s report, Jesse Miller, 26, tried calling his ex-girlfriend on her cell phone, and when she didn’t answer the phone, he drove to an intersection where he knew she would pass and waited for her. When she passed, he started following her, and when she wouldn’t stop, he allegedly rammed the rear of her car with his car three times. The woman was uninjured. The woman went to a restaurant near Kickapoo Trail and Highway 62 in Yucca Valley and called for help about 8 p.m. After an investigation, Jesse Miller was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
