JOSHUA TREE LIBRARY SUMMER READING PROGRAM CONTINUES THIS WEEK

The Joshua Tree Library offers several programs this week for children of all ages. Reporter Dan Stork joins us again to tell us about bats, Legos, and magic…
At the Joshua Tree Library this week, preschoolers and Kindergarteners will consider the question: What if bats visit the library after everyone is gone at night? Come celebrate our favorite flying mammals with stories, activities and a craft. This program is on Tuesday, July 17, at 11 a.m. The program for all ages on Wednesday, July 18, at 11:30 a.m. is a Dream House Lego Party. Build the tallest tower. Race a Lego car. Bring your Lego Dream House for display and enter the building contest. Pick up your incentives for reading this week. The Scavenger Hunt will focus on poetry this week. At the Program for junior high and high schoolers on Wednesday at 2 p.m. illusionist, Nick Diliberto will share some of his favorite tricks and also some of the tricks of the trade with all. Children and teens that need transportation to the library may show their San Bernardino County library card to MBTA drivers and ride to the library for free.
