Tomorrow at noon is your last chance to bid on the silent auction held by the Friends of the Joshua Tree Library. The silent auction for out-of-print and oversize books, and unusual items, is part of the library’s fall book sale. The book sale starts Saturday, October 3, from 9 to 5, and continues Monday and Tuesday, October 5 and 6, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The sale concludes Wednesday, October 7, with a $2 a bag sale from 11 to 7. Proceeds benefit the Friends of the Joshua Tree library to buy new books and materials for programs for adults and children at the Joshua Tree library. Sale items include used books for adults and children, DVDs, CDs, magazines, and more. For more information, call 760-366-8615.
