Residents of Johnson Valley, Flamingo Heights, Landers, and Yucca Mesa are invited to the monthly meeting of the Homestead Valley Community Council on Monday, February 19, at 3 p.m. On the agenda will be a discussion on the county’s Renewable Energy Conservation Element and permit applications for more than 5,000 acres of solar projects in rural living zones. The meeting will be held in the Johnson Valley Community Center, located on Larrea Road and Quailbush Road, 2 ½ miles off Highway 247.
