The Homestead Valley Community Council will meet 3 p.m. Monday, June 20. On the agenda, the council—which represents residents in Yucca Mesa, Landers, Flamingo Heights, and Johnson Valley—will present a slide show of existing and potential industrial solar fields on private lands. Officials from the Sheriff’s Department, county fire, and CalFire will also be available to answer questions. The meeting will be held at the Johnson Valley Community Center, 50567 Quailbush Road.
