HOLIDAY MUSICAL “MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS” OPENING THIS WEEKEND

“Meet Me in St. Louis” is a lighthearted holiday treat about the life and times of a close-knit family at the turn of the twentieth century, on the brink of the 1904 World’s Fair in America’s heartland. Based on the 1944 heartwarming film of the same name, this musical feature memorable musical numbers such as “The Boy Next Door,” “The Trolley Song,” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.” The large cast includes Kegan Languevan, Randy Smith, Drea Kelley, James Hodgson, Kelly Ames, and many more. Directed by the multi-award-winning Kathryn Ferguson and choreographed by Lisa Goldberg. The show opened last night with a gala fundraiser tickets for the gala only are $25 each and include hors d`oeuvres and a silent auction at 6 p.m., plus the show at 7 p.m. with deserts served at intermission. Gala tickets can be purchased through any 29 Palms Kiwanis Club member or at the Z107.7 studios in Joshua Tree.

“Meet Me in St. Louis” will run Friday and Saturday evenings at 7 p.m. and Sundays at 2:30 through December 17 at the regular ticket prices of $8 to $15. Visit theatre29.org or call the Theatre 29 box office at 760-361-4151.
