The repaving project on Highway 62 from Yucca Mesa Road to Bermuda Avenue in Twentynine Palms continues this week with lane closures. The project will grind the existing roadway and replace with new material to ensure longevity of the route. The lane closures are East and West Bound in Twentynine Palms from Saddleback Road to Mile Square Road from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. beginning today, July 15 to Friday, July 19. No weekend work will be done. The project is expected to be completed by mid-August. Allow extra commute time. And remember to “SLOW FOR THE CONE ZONE.
