The Yucca Valley High School Trojans lost Friday’s game against Shadow Hills 42-7. Coach Andrew Amosa said quarterback Jake Moore hit Tommy Geiger for a 40-yard touchdown pass and Lucas Lopez with over 100 yards rushing. For defense, Larry Williamson and Noah Rodriguez both had 10 tackles and two quarterback sacks.
The Yucca Valley junior varsity beat Shadow hills 34 to 18, and remain undefeated with just two games left in the season.
Coming up in high school sports tomorrow, the Yucca Valley High School Trojan tennis and volleyball teams will travel to Thermal to play Desert Mirage High School. First serve for tennis is at 3:15; volleyball at 4:30.
