Twentynine Palms High School varsity boys’ basketball played against Desert Mirage High School Friday at home and won 85-45. The Wildcats are still undefeated in the De Anza League being 6-0, 18-7 overall.

Senior, #24, D’ Shaun Barrett with 32 points, and junior, #4, Cezar Hueso with 13 points.
 
Twentynine Palms High School Junior Varsity Basketball Boys played against Desert Mirage High School, and won, 72-14.

Freshman, #24, Jacob Hueso with 13 points, and sophomore, #, Mac Miller with 11 points.
 
Yucca Valley High School boys’ soccer played a home league match versus Coachella High School Friday. Varsity lost 5 to 1.
The goal was scored by Junior Fabian Odonell. Player of the match was senior midfielder Carlos Estrada. Coach Jorge Rodriguez said, “The team played well and we were more competitive tonight.”

The Yucca Valley High School junior varsity boys’ soccer lost 3 to 1. The only goal scored was by freshman Marcelo Noble. Sophomore defender Anthony Rodriguez-Rojas was player of the match. Coach Adan Mendoza said, “We keep improving game by game and we are becoming more competitive.”
 
The Twentynine Palms boys soccer team played away at Desert Mirage in Thermal on Friday night. The varsity Wildcats came up short, losing 4-2.
The second half was very exciting with each team scoring one goal. Senior Nick Stowers scored two goals on two assists from senior Karl Magwood. Senior Adam Pereira anchored a strong defense with 10 saves.
 
The Wildcat junior varsity team played with only 10 men and fought hard but lost 3-0 to Desert Mirage. 
The back line, anchored by Andrew Henry and Dylan Smith, played an excellent game. The entire team played great defensively and made all their fans and coaches proud.
