HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS

The Twentynine Palms High School Ladycats varsity soccer team traveled to West Shores High School for a non-league match up on Monday, January 8. The girls came away with a 2-1 victory with 18 shots on goal. Points were put in by team Captain Emma Yeager and Kayla (Rose) Perrotte.

Coming up in high school sports today, the Yucca Valley boys’ and girls’ basketball teams, and boys’ and girls’ soccer teams will all play the Coachella High School Arabs. The boys’ basketball and soccer teams will travel away to Thermal, with soccer starting at 5 p.m. and basketball at 6 p.m. The girls’ teams will host the Lady Arabs at home; soccer starts at 5 p.m., basketball at 6 p.m.

The Twentynine Palms High School boys’ and girls’ basketball and boys’ and girls’ soccer teams will play Desert Mirage High School. The boys’ soccer game will be played at 5 p.m. at home in Twentynine Palms; all other games will be played at Desert Mirage High School in Thermal: the girls’ basketball and soccer games start at 5 p.m.; the boys basketball game starts at 6 p.m.
