The Twentynine Palms High School Ladycats volleyball team traveled to Desert Mirage High School and took part in the Salton Sea Invitational Tournament this past Saturday and came away Champions of the Silver bracket. Hope Culver was named MVP of the Silver Bracket. Coach Missy Bond said all girls saw playtime and finished strong in the 15-team tournament.
The Yucca Valley High School girls’ varsity volleyball team won first place in the Salton Sea Classic tournament and beat Cathedral City Friday.
Yucca Valley High School boys’ cross country took third, and girls’ cross country took fifth in the Beaumont Invitational.
