HI-DESERT WATER LOOKING FOR CITIZENS ADVISORS

The Hi-Desert Water District is seeking customers interested in volunteering to serve on the Public Advisory Committee. The committee will meet to discuss and provide input on matters affecting the public including the Wastewater Project, water rates, fees, regulations, and budgets. The committee meets on the second Monday each month at 5 p.m. Volunteers are asked to make a minimum of a one-year commitment. If you are interested in serving as the community’s voice in matters related to water service, please pick-up a Public Advisory Committee Application at the District Office at 55439 29 Palms Hwy., Yucca Valley, or download it online at hdwd.com. For more information, contact 760-228-6267. Applications are due by 5 p.m. on Thursday, August 9.
