Water district jobs—both current and new—are among the items that are on the agenda for tonight’s special meeting of the Hi-Desert Water District’s board of directors. Board members will be asked to approve revisions and upgrades for three positions, and add three new temporary jobs. Directors will be asked to approve the implementation of an additional retirement savings plan, change orders for the wastewater project; and approve the design of manhole covers. The meeting starts at 5:30 p.m. tonight in district offices at Inca Trail and the highway in Yucca Valley.
