A 65-minute documentary that explores the health care systems in the United States and Canada will be screened by the Morongo Basin Democratic club. At one point, the health care systems were similar in both countries, but in the last 50 years, medical care has evolved into very different systems. A 10-minute movie short, “The Second Stage of Healthcare,” has been added to “The Healthcare Movie” June 29 and July 5 at 6 p.m. at Groves Cabin Theatre in Morongo Valley. The theater is located at 8758 Desert Willow Trail in Morongo Valley (turn at the red, white, and blue rock).
