GIRL BURGLARIZES TWENTYNINE PALMS STORE

A juvenile was arrested early Wednesday morning, accused of breaking into a retail store in Twentynine Palms. According to a Sheriff’s report, a burglar alarm went off about 3 a.m. at the Family Dollar store in the 6300 block of Adobe Road. The report states the girl, who was not named due to her age, used a rock to smash several of the store’s windows. Once inside, she used the store’s telephone, attempted to smash the window in front of the cigarettes, and took a 20-ounce soft drink from a refrigerated case. Deputies located her at the scene and detained her after she attempted to flee.
