Gallery 62 in Joshua Tree will hold an opening reception tonight Saturday, May 13, for its new art show, “Women’s Empowerment: Nasty Women.” The show features the artworks of 33 local artists, both women and men, along with signature artist Casey Kiernan with a video installation and photography. The opening reception is set for 6 to 8 p.m. at the art gallery, 61607 29 Palms Highway, Suite H, in downtown Joshua Tree. The gallery is open noon to 3 Fridays and Sundays, and 9 to 3 Saturdays.
