“Food, Inc.” is a documentary that exposes how our nation’s food supply is now controlled by a handful of corporations that often put profit ahead of consumer health. A free showing of the film will be held at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Yucca Valley, 8035 Church Street at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 26. The film examines how food is handled from the farms to the chain restaurants and supermarkets where it’s sold. It reveals some surprising and often shocking truths. The church will serve a free vegetarian meal at the screening.
