100 pounds overweight, loaded up on steroids, and suffering from a debilitating disease, Joe Cross was at the end of his rope. He tipped scales at a staggering 310 pounds. “Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead” is an inspiring film that tells of Joe’s personal mission to regain his health. Joe is now focusing on one goal, to achieve a balanced lifestyle. A free showing of this film will be showing on February 23, at the Seventh-day Adventist Church located at 8035 Church Street in Yucca Valley at 6 p.m. A light vegetarian meal will be served free of charge.
