FREE LEGAL ADVICE FOR MILITARY FAMILIES

Military service members and their families who are victims of domestic violence or sexual assault have access to free legal advice, counseling and referrals for crime victims. Also help for victims in obtaining a military or civilian protective order. VLC services are available to active duty service members, reservists serving on active duty, retirees and their military dependents. In addition, all Department of Defense employees who are victims of sexual assault qualify for VLC assistance. The VLC does not report to commanding officers or law enforcement unless specifically requested.
