Christmas was indeed merry at Palms Baptist Church in Twentynine Palms where Food for Life served 359 Christmas dinners, gave toys and clothes to the children attending, and had Santa ready to get requests for presents. The drawing for the raffle to benefit the building fund was held. Food for Life thanks all the volunteers that made the day a success, preparing meals for take out to shut-ins, serving meals, manning the toy and clothes rooms, being elves with Santa Claus. Thanks to the Red Cross who gave out comfort bags and Christmas cards.
