“FLYING DOCTORS” TO ATTEND COMMUNITY HEALTH FAIR

The Morongo Basin Healthcare District and the City of Twentynine Palms have partnered to bring another Community Health and Resource Fair to the Morongo Basin on October, 6. This year “The Flying Doctors” will provide free dental and vision care to a limited number of attendees. Reporter Eric Knabe explains how to get these much-needed services…

“Los Medicos Voladores,” or “The Flying Doctors,” will be at the Community Health and Resource Fair on October 6 from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Luckie
Park in Twentynine Palms. The dental care; which includes teeth cleaning, fillings, and extractions, is limited to the first 150 adults and children in line by 5 a.m. The vision service, which includes a free eye exam and a pair of free glasses, is limited to the first 65 adults and children in line by 5 a.m. No personal documentation is required and please, no unattended children.
