FIVE SOUGHT, VICTIM STABBED, IN YUCCA VALLEY ATTEMPTED MURDER

Deputies are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating five suspects wanted for an attempted murder in Yucca Valley Wednesday. About 11 p.m., deputies were called to the 7300 block of Dumosa Avenue in Yucca Valley for a disturbance. When deputies arrived, they found a 39-year-old man who had been stabbed multiple times. The victim told deputies he had been confronted and attacked by three men and two women while outside of his apartment complex. He was beaten and stabbed multiple times during the attack, and the suspects stole personal property from him before fleeing in a vehicle. The suspects are identified only as being Hispanic. The victim was taken to Hi-Desert Medical Center where he was treated for his injuries. Anyone with information should call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
