FIVE MORONGO UNIFIED SCHOOLS RECOGNIZED

Five schools in the Morongo Unified School District were honored recently by an organization that promotes positive behavioral interventions and support. The California PBIS Coalition announced that Joshua Tree Elementary School had achieved excellence in the school’s level of academic, behavioral, and social-emotional outcomes for students at the Gold level. Four other MUSD schools—La Contenta Middle School, Morongo Valley Elementary School, Palm Vista Elementary School, and Twentynine Palms Junior High—were honored at the Silver level. There were 54 schools recognized at the Gold level and 594 schools at the Silver level.
