FAMOUS HOLLYWOOD DIRECTOR FILMED IN YUCCA VALLEY FRIDAY

If you were driving in Yucca Valley on Old Woman Springs Road Friday morning, you might have noticed many California Highway Patrol cars, semi trucks, and people milling around the Circle K gas station and convenience store. Noted Hollywood director Tim Burton was filming a movie there, and the gas station was closed to the public Thursday night and most of Friday. Those working on the set were tight-lipped about which movie Burton was filming, but Z107.7 was told it was Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. Some of the movies Tim Burton directed are Beetlejuice, Batman, Edward Scissorhands, Batman Returns, Mars Attacks, Nightmare Before Christmas, The Corpse Bride, Sweeney Todd, and Dark Shadows.
