A support group for grandparents, siblings or other relatives who are caring for children of other family members will be held at 1:00 Wednesday, August 17, in the Ocotillo Room of the Yucca Valley Community Center. Helping Hands Kinship support group aims to help strengthen and sustain formal and informal families by helping them stay connected to their families, culture, language, and traditions. Helping Hands Kinship has case management, family activities, caregiver workshops, and its support is designed to fit the family’s needs. For more information, call 760-843-1177.
