FAMILY DISPUTE ESCALATES INTO VIOLENCE IN YUCCA VALLEY

A man who was released from jail on Sunday was arrested and sent back to jail on Sunday. According to a Sheriff’s report, Adrian Morales, 29, had been released from jail Sunday after serving a sentence for battery, and was at home drinking beers with his family in the 57100 block of Juarez Drive in Yucca Valley. Family members reported that Morales began talking about visiting his ex-girlfriend, who has a criminal protective order against him. When his family tried to discourage him, he started arguing and destroying property. When his brother tried to stop him, Morales allegedly head-butted him. When Morales’ other brother tried to stop him, Morales threw him into a wall and bit him in the arm. Morales was on the floor being restrained by family members when deputies arrived. Adrian Morales was arrested for investigation of battery with serious injuries, booked into the West Valley Detention Center, with his bail set at $100,000.
