ENTRY FORMS NOW AVAILABLE FOR THIS YEARS GRUBSTAKE DAYS PARADE

The Yucca Valley Chamber of Commerce is taking entries for the 66th Grubstake Days Parade May 28. It will begin at 10 a.m. at Inca Trail and will travel east on Highway 62 to Sage Avenue. This year’s Grand Marshall is Joshua Tree National Park and Superintendent David Smith will be riding in the parade. With this year’s theme, “Adventures in the Desert,” attendees will enjoy a variety of fun floats, exciting equestrian groups, bands, dance and musical displays for your entertainment, classic vehicles and much more. Z107.7’s Gary Daigneault will be announcing the parade in front of the California Welcome Center. It’s an event for the whole family that you won’t want to miss. Trophies for parade entries in competitive categories will be presented at 2 p.m. at the California Welcome Center. If you would like to participate as part of this year’s parade, you can download your entry form at yuccavalley.org, or pick one up at the Yucca Valley Chamber offices located in the California Welcome Center. Entry deadline is May 6.  For more information, call 760-365-6323 or go to yuccavalley.org
