Tortoise Rock Casino in Twentynine Palms will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony tomorrow, Friday, December 16, for eight EV charging stations, including supercharging stations for Tesla electric cars. The Tesla supercharging stations can charge vehicles to 100 percent in 75 minutes; regular EV charging stations yields about 31 miles per hour charged. Tesla owners can access public charging and supercharging stations through their vehicle’s touchscreen or on the Tesla app, which will show Tortoise Rock Casino as a new location. The ribbon cutting ceremony is set for 10 a.m. Friday.
