The San Bernardino County Fire Department Office of Emergency Services will hold an informational meeting about this winter’s expected El Nino storm system. The meeting will be held Monday, November 9, at 5:30 p.m. in the Yucca Valley Community Center. The first 50 attendees will receive a personal disaster preparedness kit. Other organizations who will present information at the meeting are the National Weather Service, the County Public Works Department, CalTrans, and the U.S. Forest Service.
