Friends of Joshua Tree (FOJT) invites climbers everywhere to take advantage of the early bird discounted registration for Climb Smart 2017. For only $129 (early bird price; regular $149) you get three days of camping, six clinics and two catered dinners. Early-bird pricing ends Sept. 1, or until they hit 150 registrants. This event is FOJT’s one big fund-raiser of the year in support of Joshua Tree Search and Rescue and running their operations for the next year. The event begins October 13 through October 15 at Joshua Tree Lake Campground, 2601 Sunfair Road, Joshua Tree.
