The Twentynine Palms Art gallery is offering an adult art class: Drawing and Painting from Life, with Janis Commentz. Commentz will focus on developing your painting and drawing skills. A live, costumed model will be your subject with special emphasis placed on proportion and lighting, as well as developing your own personal, artistic style. To sign up visit 29palmsartgallery.com. The class fee is $10 plus a $5 model fee. Easels will be made available to artists and the class will be taught in acrylic paint; however, students may bring a more comfortable medium if they wish.
