DOMESTIC VIOLENCE IN TWENTYNINE PALMS AND JOSHUA TREE

A Twentynine Palms man was arrested Saturday evening, accused of fighting with his wife. According to a Sheriff’s report, Adam Hamersky, 20, was arguing with his wife about 8 p.m. in the 74400 block of Joe Davis Drive when his wife said he head butted her, grabbed her by her wrist, and threw her against a wall. After an investigation, Adam Hamersky was arrested on suspicion of felony spouse abuse, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.

A Joshua Tree man was arrested Saturday evening, accused of beating his wife. According to a Sheriff’s report, a neighbor called deputies about 4:30 after a woman came to his home in the 61900 block of Mountain View Circle and said her husband, David Tallman, 61, had hit her on the head, scratched her neck, and bruised her arms. Tallman told responding deputies he restrained his wife while she tried to assault him during an argument, but deputies did not locate any injuries on Tallman consistent with his explanation. After an investigation, David Tallman was arrested on suspicion of felony spouse abuse, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
