DESERT TEA SOCIAL TO BENEFIT REACH-OUT MORONGO BASIN

Reach Out Morongo Basin has planned a “A Desert Tea Social” to benefit the neighbors-helping-neighbors organization. Reporter Rebecca Havely has your invitation…
Sip a cup of tea while listening to the sounds of a string quarter and enjoying the bountiful gardens at “A Desert Tea Social.” Reach Out sponsors Eddie and Janet Tucker will host the tea at their home, Flora Desierta, 4524 Avenida La Flora Desierta, from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 29. Refreshments and teas will be served as the quartet “Desert Strings” performs. The Tuckers will lead an extensive tour of their acre-sized gardens, featuring many native plants, multiple themed seating areas, a bountiful vegetable garden and much more.
Executive Director Robin Schlossers said, “Flora Desierta is a true desert oasis and attendees will learn more about how they can help through programs such as the Angel Donor Program.”
For more information call Reach Out Morongo Basin at 760-361-1410 or go online to reachoutmb.org.
