Morongo Basin Sheriff’s deputies are asking for the public’s help in identifying a pair of suspects wanted for burglary and grand theft auto in Yucca Valley. On Tuesday, November 20, at approximately 3:00 PM, an unnamed female victim parked her 2015 Dodge Charger in the parking lot of Five Star Fitness in Yucca Valley. The victim locked her vehicle and entered the gym where she locked her personal property in a locker. Two unknown white female adults entered the gym posing as possible future customers and signed into the gym using fictitious names. The suspects used an unknown tool to remove the lock from the locker and took the victim’s purse, wallet and car keys before stealing the victim’s vehicle. The vehicle was located a short time later abandoned near the intersection of Paxton Road and La Habra Avenue in Yucca Valley. The suspects used the victim’s credit cards at various businesses in Yucca Valley and Cabazon and were seen leaving a Yucca Valley store in a silver sedan. Detectives have released photos of the suspects. Anyone with information should call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
