DEPUTIES ASK FOR PUBLIC’S HELP IN TWENTYNINE PALMS FIRE

Deputies are asking for the public’s help concerning a structure fire in Twentynine Palms that is being investigated by the County Fire Department’s arson investigators. On Wednesday, May 24, the Sheriff’s Department received numerous phone calls shortly after 8:24 p.m. about a fire in the 6400 block of Yucca Avenue. Witnesses saw an Hispanic woman entering and leaving the building before the fire started, and heard explosions coming from the house. The home was fully involved in flames before firefighters arrived. Anyone with information should call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
