COUNTY SUPERVISORS MEET TOMORROW, PIONEERTOWN GRANT, J.T. LIBRARY LEASE

County Supervisors meet at 10 a.m. tomorrow in San Bernardino. Several items on the consent agenda pertain to interests here in our Morongo Basin. Reporter Mike Lipsitz is here to tell us about it…

Supervisors are expected to approve a grant funding agreement with the
State Water Board to receive a $5.4 million reimbursement for construction of the pipeline that transfers water from the Hi-Desert Water District to Pioneertown. And in other business, supervisors are expected to approve a 25,200, five-year lease agreement for the continued operation of the county’s Joshua Tree Branch Library.

Tomorrow’s meeting streams live to the first-floor teleconferencing room at the County Government Center in Joshua Tree where public comment may be made via video link.
