COUNTY FIRE INCREASING AMBULANCE SERVICE IN YUCCA VALLEY

fire departmentSan Bernardino County Fire announced that effective July 6, Yucca Valley and adjacent unincorporated areas will once again have 24-hour paramedic ambulance service with three fully staffed paramedic ambulances. County Fire Division Chief Don Trapp said Yucca Valley’s Station 41 is the third busiest station in County Fire, with approximately 80 percent of its calls for service being medical related. He said, “The restoration of full-time paramedic service is crucial to the residents we serve.” Each ambulance is staffed with a full-time professional firefighter/paramedic and a limited term firefighter. Two paramedic ambulances are assigned to Station 41, on the Highway in Yucca Valley, and one ambulance at Station 42 on Aberdeen in the Yucca Mesa area.
