The County Coroner has identified to two Phelan residents killed in a Saturday crash on State Route 62 in Johnson Valley. At 1:31 a.m., the California Highway Patrol received a 911 call regarding a two vehicle collision on State Route 247 in Johnson Valley. Authorities responded to the scene and pronounced the driver and passenger of one of the vehicles dead at the scene. They are Kyle Vincent Rojas, 22, and Megan Michelle Palacios, 23. The CHP is investigating the collision.
