Copper Mountain Mesa Community Association will hold its annual membership meeting and board election this Saturday, November 11, at noon; lunch will be provided. Special guest Curt Sauer, general manager of the Joshua Basin Water District, will update residents on important water issues affecting the Copper Mountain Mesa area. Sauer will discuss where they are and what lies ahead for water rates, Chromium-6 treatment, and answer questions about the Water District. A rate study is currently being conducted and community involvement will be appreciated. The Copper Mountain Mesa Community Center is at 65336 Winters Road in North Joshua Tree.
