100 percent success; that’s the goal recently set by the Copper Mountain College Academic Senate. What does 100 percent student success look like? It depends on the student because in this program, students will establish their own definition of success based on criteria they design. Then faculty will encourage even higher aspirations. The concept rejects traditional measures of success that accept some percentage of unsuccessful students. Collaboration with Morongo Unified School District, basic skills boot camps, mandatory library orientations, and other programs will support the 100 percent success aim.
