A Landers man was arrested Thursday in Morongo Valley, accused of being a felon in possession of a firearm. Deputies stopped Anthony McClellan, 49, for an expired registration about 1 a.m. on Highway 62 near Bella Vista. Anthony McClellan is a convicted felon. During a search of the vehicle, deputies discovered a firearm and ammunition. Anthony McClellan was arrested for investigation of being a felon in possession of a firearm and booked into the West Valley Detention Center with bail set at $50,000.
