The Morongo Basin Chapter of The Compassionate Friends will be holding a pancake breakfast fundraiser at the Yucca Mesa Community Center Saturday, November 23, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Baked goods and gift items will be available for purchase. Opportunity tickets will be available for four gift baskets. All monies raised will support the Morongo Basin Chapter of The Compassionate Friends, a support group for parents who have experienced the death of a child. The group meets monthly on the second Wednesday at 4:30 pm in the Helen Gray Educational Center on the campus of the Hi-Desert Medical Center.
