CLEAN UP OF TORTOISE ISLAND IN JOSHUA TREE SET FOR THIS SATURDAY

The Joshua Tree Clean Team says Tortoise Island, the beloved centerpiece of the village of Joshua Tree is in dire need of clean up. They are asking residents to consider joining them for a Joshua Tree Clean Team effort to clean up the area at 8 a.m. this Saturday, May 6, to help them meet this community challenge. A spokesman said, “If you’ll bring your favorite weeding tool and give us just 20 minutes of your time, we can make Tortoise Island shine!!!” The Joshua Tree Clean Team will provide trash bags and bottled water and reminds you to wear a hat.
