CASTING CHANGE FOR “A CHRISTMAS STORY” OPENING FRIDAY AT THEATRE 29

Theatre 29’s final production of the season, “A Christmas Story,” opens soon. A change in the cast had to be made, but as they say in live theater, “the show must go on.” Reporter Rebecca Havely has the details…
Director Eric Ross announced the casting for the final production of Theatre 29’s season “A Christmas Story.” However, because of a health challenge, an actor previously cast had to drop out of the production. Ross has now cast Gary Daigneault in the role of the father, “The Old Man.” The cast also includes: Rory O’Brien, Ethan Flores, Cindy Ross, and Analisa Pilecki with Justin Casey-Eich, Ryan Kidd, Adonai Patu, Nicholas Perez, Jesse Sheckler, Bella Oden and Irene Harlan. Rounding out the cast are Travis Kidd, Christopher Perez, Matthew Perez, Katie O’Brien and Grace Prograis. With the help of the talented cast and director Ross, the show will open as planned on November 18 with a gala fundraiser and continue its run through December 17; Friday and Saturday nights at 7 p.m. with 2:30 p.m. Sunday matinees on November 27, and December 11.
