CAR STOLEN FROM YUCCA VALLEY FOUND IN MORONGO VALLEY

A car that was stolen out of Yucca Valley last Saturday was recovered in the desert in Morongo Valley Wednesday. According to a Sheriff’s report, the owner of the 1998 Nissan Altima reported the car stolen from the 56200 block of Buena Vista Drive about 11:40 a.m. June 25. The car keys were still in the owner’s possession. About 7 a.m. Wednesday morning, a Morongo Valley resident saw something white glinting in the desert and went to check it out. He found the car stuck between two bushes in the 48100 block of Adeline Way and called it in to law enforcement, who determined it was the stolen vehicle. There were no keys with the vehicle and the ignition was undamaged. Anyone with information should call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
