The California Welcome Center has announced the winners of its 2020 Art Festival Contest. In the mixed media category, Elisabeth Pollnow of Twentynine Palms won for her entry, âWhite Poppy,â made of clay and creosote wood. Robert Arnett, of Glendora and Wonder Valley, won the painting category for his oil painting âGetting By on the 395.â There were two winners in the photography category: Mitch Miller of Yucca Valley, for his photo âFlare: Joshua Tree National Park,â and Mark Robben, of Rancho Palos Verdes for his photo, âBristlecone Pine Dancers.â The winning entries can be seen below.
