BURGLARS HIT YUCCA VALLEY

Burglars have been hitting Yucca Valley again. At least four burglaries were reported Monday. A resident in the 56400 block of Cedarbird Road told deputies that sometime between July 30 and August 6, someone broke in through the garage and stole guns and electronics. A house sitter in the 7400 block of Canyon Drive reported that sometime between 6:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., someone broke in through a sliding glass door and stole guns and other property. A resident in the 58800 block of Santa Barbara Drive reported to deputies that burglars forced open the front door and stole electronics, cash, jewelry, guns, and other items. And St. Joseph of Aramethea Church reported that burglars broke a window and stole cash and electronics. Anyone with information should call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
