BURGLAR WHO BROKE INTO SLEEPING WOMAN’S ROOM CAUGHT

A Twentynine Palms man was arrested Friday morning after a woman said he broke into her bedroom while she was sleeping. According to a Sheriff’s report, an intruder broke into a home in the 73900 block of Two Mile Road in Twentynine Palms about 5 a.m. and went into the bedroom and removed a night light. The female resident thought it was her husband and when she asked him what he was doing, the intruder fled with a jar of coins. A responding deputy located Joey Sepulona, 22, near Adobe Road and Gorgonio Avenue and arrested him for investigation of felony burglary. Sepulona is also a suspect in another attempted burglary. Joey Sepulona was booked at the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $25,000.
