The Morongo Unified School District will serve “Breakfast in the Classroom” at Joshua Tree Elementary School. Breakfast in the Classroom takes the traditional school breakfast approach and improves it by moving it to the classroom. Breakfast is available to every child, at no cost, making it possible for all children to participate. Eating breakfast at school improves academic performance, health and behavior. Breakfast in the classroom is a pilot program, and is available only at Joshua Tree Elementary.
